The DELIGHT series has become the benchmark for lightweight, accessible cross-country harnesses. With the DELIGHT 5, SUPAIR continues that evolution by delivering a harness that is lighter than ever while preserving the comfort, safety, and ease of use that have defined the series. Approximately 450 g (0.99 lbs) lighter than the previous generation, the DELIGHT 5 features improved equipment, refined finishes, and enhanced ergonomics without sacrificing durability or support. Designed for pilots who want to fly longer and farther with complete confidence, it allows you to fully enjoy every cross-country adventure.

The DELIGHT was originally developed for the demanding conditions of the X-Alps, where every gram matters and equipment must perform under extreme conditions. Early generations focused on lightweight performance for hike & fly competitions. Over time, the DELIGHT evolved into a more accessible cross-country harness suitable for a wider range of pilots. Beginning with the third generation, the philosophy shifted toward creating a harness that is reassuring, comfortable, and easy to fly.

The DELIGHT 5 continues that vision by reducing weight while maintaining the high level of comfort and protection introduced in the previous generation. The result is a harness that is nearly 10% lighter than the DELIGHT 4 without compromising strength or support.

The DELIGHT series is built around a unique structure designed to prioritize stability and pilot confidence. Its seat plate provides clear feedback and solid support, allowing pilots to stay focused on their line without being distracted by unnecessary movements. Acting as a filter between the pilot and the wing, the harness smooths out glider feedback to create a more relaxed and controlled flying experience—especially with today's highly responsive wings.

The enveloping cocoon provides secure body support while reducing fatigue during long flights, making the DELIGHT 5 equally suited for experienced cross-country pilots and those transitioning into their first cocoon harness.

The DELIGHT 5 offers a high level of passive and active safety throughout every phase of flight. Its full-length PLASTAZOTE® back protector extends from the neck to the lower thighs, providing immediate protection thanks to high-performance structural foam that remains effective regardless of impact angle.

The stable harness structure also improves active safety by making wing control easier when conditions become more demanding, helping pilots remain composed in turbulent air.

OPTIMIZED COMFORT & INGENIOUS DETAILS

This fifth generation achieves the remarkable feat of shedding 450 g (about 10% compared to the DELIGHT 4) without compromising on ergonomics or durability. Comfort is ensured by an enveloping cocoon and legstraps provide precise support, ideal for long hours of flight. The upgrade to a higher-end model is also reflected in more sophisticated accessories: a speedbag cockpit and speedbag for simplified handling, as well as an optimized parachute pocket. These details, combined with meticulous finishes, make it a tool that is as pleasant to use on a daily basis as it is aesthetically pleasing.
