Accessibility
Super Fly is committed to making our online store usable by as many people as possible, including pilots and customers who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification.
Our standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our reference point. These are the internationally recognized guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities — covering things like color contrast, keyboard operability, alternatives for images, and clear focus indicators.
We do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA at this time. We are working continuously toward it, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing improvement effort rather than a finished project.
What we've done so far
Across our current store we have worked to:
- Provide alternative text for product and content images.
- Use semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate page structure.
- Maintain color-contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA on text, buttons, and form fields.
- Support keyboard-only navigation through menus, the cart, search, and checkout.
- Show clear focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Respect prefers-reduced-motion by reducing or removing decorative animation for visitors who request it.
Known limitations
Our site uses third-party services for features such as customer reviews, financing messaging, email signup, and live chat. These services inject their own content and interface elements into our pages, and their accessibility is governed by the providers rather than by us. We choose vendors who publish accessibility commitments where we can, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party element on every page meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Some legacy product images, supplier-provided PDFs (manuals, certification documents), and older blog content may not yet meet the same standard as our newer material. We are working through these as we encounter them.
Need help, or having trouble?
If something on the site isn't working for you, please reach out — we want to know, and we want to help. If you cannot complete a task online, we are happy to assist directly. For example, we can take orders by email, send product documentation in alternate formats, or walk you through gear selection one-on-one.
Email us at info@superflyinc.com and let us know:
- The page or feature where you ran into trouble (a link is most helpful).
- What you were trying to do.
- The assistive technology, browser, or device you were using, if you're comfortable sharing it.
We read every accessibility message and aim to respond as quickly as we can.
Feedback drives improvement
This statement is updated as our site and our understanding evolve. If you have suggestions for things we can do better — even small ones — we'd genuinely like to hear them at the email above.
