What is the difference between beginner and advanced paragliders?
The primary difference lies in the balance between stability and performance. Beginner wings (typically rated EN-A) are designed with high passive safety, meaning they are built to automatically recover from collapses with minimal pilot input. Advanced wings (EN-C or EN-D) offer significantly more glide performance and speed but require a pilot who can actively manage the wing in turbulent air. At Super Fly, we recommend matching your wing to your current airtime and skill level to ensure maximum enjoyment and safety.
Do you offer rental equipment or only sales?
We specialize exclusively in the sales of premium paragliding equipment from manufacturers like Advance, Gin, and Nova. While we do not offer short-term rentals, we do host demo days throughout the year where qualified pilots can test fly the latest models. For new students, we provide equipment as part of your training package before investing in your own personal gear.
What is your return and warranty policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused equipment in its original packaging. Gliders that have been unpacked or flown are not eligible for standard returns. We fully support manufacturer warranties (typically 2–3 years on material defects) and handle all claims on behalf of our customers for a seamless resolution.
How long does shipping typically take?
For items in stock at our Utah warehouse, domestic shipping takes 3–5 business days via UPS or FedEx. Custom-ordered gliders or specialized gear coming directly from Europe can range from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the manufacturer's production schedule. You'll receive tracking as soon as your order ships. If you need an item urgently, feel free to call us to see if it is in stock.
Do you provide training or flying lessons?
Yes! Super Fly offers both paragliding and paramotoring lessons at the Point of the Mountain in Utah — one of the most consistent free-flight training sites in North America. Whether you're taking your very first flight or working toward your solo rating, our certified instructors guide you through every step, from ground handling to confident flight. Explore our training programs to find the right path for you and book your first lesson today.
How do I choose the right harness for my glider?
Choosing a harness depends on your typical flight duration and style. Open seated harnesses offer the best combination of visibility and ease of use for most pilots; pod or cocoon harnesses improve aerodynamics and warmth for cross-country flying. The harness must fit your height and weight to preserve the designed geometry of the wing — talk to one of our experts before you buy.
