Created with pure performance in mind, the BANDIT delivers speed, efficiency, and control in one powerful wing. Its high aspect ratio design provides effortless glide and extremely precise handling. Every detail is engineered for pilots who want more range, more response, and more freedom in the air.

At the heart of the BANDIT is the FLARE System, giving you direct control over lift, pitch, and acceleration — all through the brake handles. While others follow the wind, the BANDIT lets you command it.

REFLEX PROFILE

The reflex profile keeps the wing stable at a low angle of attack and even at full acceleration. The counter-arching design pushes the trailing edge down, preventing front stalls and increasing overall stability.

This reflex construction is essential for effective control and depower, especially in strong winds and accelerated flight.

MINI RIBS

Mini ribs are small internal ribs located near the trailing edge. They refine the wing’s shape, improve airflow, and reduce drag.

The result is a cleaner trailing edge, better glide efficiency, and more precise control throughout the speed range.

SHARK NOSE

The shark nose leading-edge design improves both performance and stability. It maintains internal pressure more consistently across different angles of attack.

This leads to a wider speed range, improved handling, and increased stall resistance in varying wind conditions.

STABILO BRAKE ON THE WINGTIP

The stabilo brake adds true 2D steering to the BANDIT. By engaging both the main brake and the stabilo (wingtip) brake, turns become more precise and controlled.

To initiate a turn, pull the control handle toward your body to activate the stabilo brake. For flat turns, start from the best glide position, move the outside hand away, and bring the inside hand closer.

RFS – RISER FIX SYSTEM

The Riser Fix System uses a rigid foil sewn into the lower sail trailing edge and stored inside dedicated pockets.

When packing or unpacking, the foil slides through the riser loops to keep them perfectly organized and prevent line tangles. Combined with the left and right Best Trim Labels, this system makes setup faster and easier. The foil is stored back in the pockets before flying.

BEST TRIM LABELS

The BANDIT achieves its best glide ratio when the brake handles (not the brake handle loops) are pulled slightly below the height of the left and right trim flags on the risers.

This position marks your optimal glide setting.

NITINOL RIGID FOIL

Designed for maximum stability and efficiency, the Nitinol rigid foil helps the BANDIT maintain its ideal shape in all conditions.

It delivers consistent glide performance, precise handling, and solid control across the entire speed range.

KILLER MUSHROOM

The Killer Mushroom is an essential ground-handling safety feature. Connected at the B-level, it completely stops the wing from generating lift.

This is especially useful in strong winds when standing on the ground and needing to safely bring the wing down.
Do not use while flying.

AUTOMATIC DRAINAGE SYSTEM

Integrated into the internal structure, the Automatic Drainage System allows dirt or small objects inside the wing to move automatically from the center toward the wingtips.

They exit through two large drainage openings at the trailing edge of the wingtips.

FLARE SYSTEM - THE THIRD DIMENSION OF FLYING

The FLARE System adds a true third dimension to flying. It is the first system to combine steering and acceleration directly into the brake handles, giving you full control through your hands.

Using a pulley-based mixing system:

• The C-level moves at 1/3 of the brake travel
• The B-level moves at 1/6 of the brake travel

This allows precise adjustment of the wing’s angle of attack, letting you actively control your glide ratio in real time.

Combined with the stable reflex profile and positive momentum, the wing naturally flies away from the pilot, keeping line tension even at full acceleration. The brake handles are connected with elastic free brake lines for quick access during ground handling.

Always stay in the loops while flying and do not release the brake handles in the air.

SAFE ON THE GROUND

In strong winds, simply releasing the brakes fully depowers the wing. The reflex profile prevents you from being lifted or dragged, allowing safe and controlled ground handling even in challenging conditions.

TRANSFER ENERGY INTO HEIGHT

With full control over lift, you decide when the wing climbs and when it doesn’t. By pulling the brakes at the right moment, kinetic energy can be converted into height — similar to flying a hang glider.

PROXIMITY FLYING

The FLARE System allows extremely precise terrain following. You can smoothly transition between different slopes and terrain shapes while maintaining control and safety.

Pulling the brakes gives you instant lift to safely move away from terrain when needed.

MAXIMUM SPEED & WIND RANGE

The BANDIT combines the dive and speed of a speedwing with the glide performance of a paraglider.

Thanks to the reflex profile, you can soar confidently in much stronger winds than before. This expanded wind range opens up new flying possibilities — but requires skill and responsibility.

WIND RANGE WHILE SOARING

The extended speed range and strong depower capability allow efficient use of wind, even when it is not perfectly aligned with the terrain or coastline.

PRECISE FLYING & LANDING

Full lift control allows more accurate height management, adding an extra safety margin when flying close to terrain or planning landings.

ENDLESS FLARING

With high performance and direct lift control, landing flares are powerful and extended.

Perfect for smooth touchdowns — and show-off flares. Just make sure you have enough space.

SPECIFICATIONS & SIZE RECOMMENDATIONS

There is a difference in recommended size depending on usage:

• Soaring: choose a bigger size
• Mountain flying / speed flying: choose a smaller size

For safety, we recommend learning the FLARE System on a larger size first.

If in doubt — take the bigger size out.
