THE PROFESSIONAL TOOL, EVOLVED
The new Fuse 4 introduces a range of refinements to both the riser system and canopy design, improving functionality, reliability, and visual consistency across the Gin Gliders lineup. These updates enhance usability and detail while preserving the core performance characteristics that have made the Fuse series a trusted professional tool.
Building on the success of the Fuse 3, the Fuse 4 delivers increased top speed, lighter handling, and even easier take-offs. The wing also retains excellent energy retention and strong climbing and gliding performance.
OPTIMISED TRIMMER GEOMETRY
The Fuse 4 features a completely revised riser system designed to improve mechanical efficiency and long-term durability. The redesigned trimmer geometry includes an integrated redirect system that reduces friction, resulting in smoother, more progressive, and more precise adjustment under load. This refinement improves both control and durability throughout the entire trim range.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE CAM BUCKLE
The previous locking system has been replaced with the Finsterwalder Jamming Buckle 25 mm, engineered for reliable and stable load retention. This upgraded buckle significantly reduces the risk of accidental release, increasing overall safety and giving pilots greater confidence during intensive and repeated trimmer use.
FULLY REPLACEABLE TRIMMER WEBBING
The Fuse 4 incorporates fully replaceable trimmer webbing to simplify maintenance and extend the lifespan of the riser system. The webbing can be replaced quickly without needing to change the complete riser assembly, helping reduce both maintenance costs and downtime.
UPDATED DESIGN & COLOR OPTIONS
The canopy design has been updated to match the latest Gin Gliders visual identity. The Fuse 4 features a cleaner and more modern appearance that improves consistency across the range. It is available in three new standard colour schemes — Atomic Blue, Green and Lemon.
CONSIDERED CHOICE OF FABRICS
A working tool like the Fuse needs to stand up to long hours of service, whilst still offering a pleasant flying experience for both pilot and passenger. In partnership with local Korean fabric manufacturer Myungjin, GIN has introduced on the lower surface a new 29g PU-based composite quattro-coated fabric, and has further refined the Myungjin 40g and 32g used in the Fuse 3. We believe these fabrics represent the pinnacle of paraglider fabric development, offering durability whilst giving the wing excellent flying characteristics in areas such as inflation, take-off and handling. For the rib material, we opted for Porcher Skytex 40 hard finish due to its performance in this specific application.
NEW PLASTIC RODS
The Fuse 4 introduces an updated plastic rod formulation with increased stiffness to better maintain the leading edge shape. This improvement contributes to cleaner inflation, improved take-off behavior, better handling, and a more solid in-flight feel.
IMPROVED TAKE-OFF, BETTER HANDLING
The material choices have a direct influence on flying characteristics. The lighter fabric and stiffer rods help the wing come up faster, for example in take-offs with a light tailwind. And the brake pressures are also reduced, particularly noticeable when the wing is flown at the top end of its weight range.
INNOVATIVE BIG EARS SYSTEM
The Fuse 4 retains GIN’s unique Big Ears system, allowing pilots to pull in and release big ears more quickly and easily. Besides, the pilot can still use the brakes to steer the glider, useful, for example, to control the glide ratio on top landings. We also added a bridle cover to the standard spreader bars for a neater finish.
FULL WEIGHT RANGE COVERAGE
With multiple sizes and a wide weight range, the Fuse 4 offers excellent flexibility for pilots and passengers of different weights. The #44 size can also expand your window of operation, especially with heavier passengers in light conditions or on difficult take-offs. The smaller size can also be flown solo or with children.
