DESIGNED TO GROW WITH YOU
The Bolero 8 is a next-generation school paraglider, redesigned from its profile to its internal architecture to make every stage of learning comfortable and intuitive.
It delivers excellent homogeneity and pitch stability, along with strong climb performance that helps new pilots progress from their first flights to longer-duration flying beyond their initial comfort zone.
Forgiving, predictable, and distinctive in character, the Bolero 8 is designed to build confidence and support pilots throughout their progression.
MORE BALANCED, MORE STABLE
A redesigned profile and refined internal architecture create a noticeably more homogeneous wing. Improved pitch and roll damping across the span, combined with greater resistance to collapses, help the Bolero 8 remain composed in turbulent conditions. This provides students with a stable and reassuring platform from which to develop their flying skills.
PERFORMANCE THAT GROWS WITH YOU
Although developed as a school glider, the Bolero 8 offers impressive aerodynamic efficiency. Its long brake range provides a clear indication when approaching the stall point, making it well suited to early flights and learning. At the same time, its glide and climb performance provide enough capability for longer flights and first adventures beyond the training site. Ideal for learning, with the performance to keep up as you progress.
EFFORTLESS, REPEATABLE LAUNCHES
A new EPT system and updated rod configuration help maintain a consistent leading-edge and nose shape across different angles of attack. The result is clean and predictable inflation, with the canopy comfortably staying overhead as the pilot runs. With no tendency to surge forward and predictable canopy movements, the Bolero 8 makes launching a reliable and repeatable part of the learning process.
EFFICIENT, FORGIVING TURNS
The Bolero 8 combines its stable character with a revised canopy arc to provide playful and forgiving handling while remaining efficient, even in light conditions. Optimized brake pressure and increased brake travel help students safely recognize the stall point while making it easier to identify thermal cores and rising air masses.
EXTENDED WEIGHT RANGE
The Bolero 8 features increased certified weight ranges, allowing each size to accommodate a wider variety of pilots. This additional flexibility simplifies school operations by allowing one size to be used by more students while maintaining the intended handling and safety characteristics.
