The Cockpit Safe is designed to improve pilot safety.
In fact, every year there are deaths due to forgetting to fix the thigh straps. After analyzing the accidents, it turns out that this oversight is often due to the presence of an instrument holder obscuring the view of these straps and leading the pilot to believe that he is strapped in. Today there are various "anti-forgetting" systems integrated into harnesses, but which do not take into account the presence of a ventral container.
The Kockpit Safe is the first instrument holder to integrate this technology previously reserved for harnesses, because its unique hooking system allows one of the thigh straps to be connected to the 2 main links. From the moment the Kockpit Safe is attached, the pilot can no longer fall from his harness.
